PROGRAMS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Making Meaning

In our three-pronged approach, students develop the AWARENESS they need to see how STEM fits into their everyday life and career trajectory; the BELIEF they need to see themselves as STEM-capable; and the COMPETENCE they need to be critical thinkers and problem-solvers.

Programs in Development

MakerMobile

We are developing a concept for a mobile makerspace so that we can bring our programming on the road with us and out into the community. We will be able to bring hands-on STEAM programming to sites like schools, libraries, community centers, and events.

Makerspace

We are developing a plan to open a storefont in Oklahoma City so that we can have a "home base" for providing our programs and services. A makerspace is a collaborative work environment where participants have access to tools, technology, materials, resources, and methods to tinker, explore, and build.  Our programs will serve youth between the ages of 8-13 and their families.

Maker-in-Residence

We are developing a residency program for adults in the Oklahoma City area who make things and want to share their expertise and craft with young people.
