"The Professional" - Exhibitor Sponsorship

With "The Professional" Sponsorship, you will host a “career-fair” style booth to inspire 8-13 year-olds to pursue STEM careers.
We ask that each company provide 2+ volunteers, a short (2-5 minute) age-appropriate activity that highlights your career field/discipline, and some sort of visual display that explains what you do and any educational/certification requirements.
200+ students and their families will pass through over the course of the event.
Benefits
We will provide you with a table, 2 chairs, tablecloth, and nameplate for your booth.
Expectations
We expect you/your company to:
- Provide 2-5 adult volunteers to be present from 9:30-2:30.
- Provide some sort of interactive activity that “brings to life” your field, discipline, or type of work. It should take no more than 2-5 minutes for each participant to complete the activity. Please bring enough materials for at least 200 kids.
- Be able to describe your industry, types of jobs/careers, educational and certification requirements in age-appropriate language.
- Have each of your representatives each fill out a Volunteer Registration Form and agree to abide by our Volunteer Code of Conduct. It is the policy of the STEAM Engine, Inc. that no adult is ever alone with a minor that is not his/her own child.
